Joyce unhappy with regional tax concessions snub

The NSW Government is determined to scrap tax concess바카라사이트ions offered by regional councils for property-rich areas such as Sydney's north and southeast.

The government's policy paper, issued by Premier Gladys Berejiklian, said it would reverse $500 million of land tax concessions that were originally announced by NSW Treasurer Chris Hartcher.

The Treasury has also signed two agreements, giving regional councils up to $80 million of tax concessions over four years for developments of up to 20,000 dwellings in areas with some of the most fertile ground on the state's map.

On Wednesday, Labor leader Luke Foley blasted this deal, saying i더킹카지노t had little to do with improving housing affordability in areas where people needed and wanted it.

Mr Foley said this deal was a move by NSW to protect the big land exporters.
